The Memorial was erected in 1920 to honour soldiers of the Jewish faith who died in WWI. A plaque was added in 1953 to commemorate those who died in WWII. The memorial is located close to the State War Memorial in Kings Park
The memorial is an Ionic column of Donnybrook freestone on a granite base. The column is topped by a globe of copper bearing the star of David, on each corner of the column is the Lion of Judah.
