This Smokey Bear is at the junction of Montezuma Canyon and Sunnyside Roads near Parker Canyon lake in SE Arizona.

This is a rather out of the way Smokey five miles from the Mexican border. The area is very scenic and has historic buildings on Sunnyside Road. It has oak and juniper woodlands leading to pine in the upper elevations. The area also has beautiful native grasslands that are prone to brush fires. The forest, of course has a fire management plan that is updated regularly.
