The little central Kansas town of Lindsborg is known all over as "Little Sweden" - and they live up to the billing :)

Dala horses are EVERYWHERE, as are other reminders of the town's strong Swedish heritage. Fitting in with that theme, an old British Telephone Box has been repainted in the colors of the Swedish flag and renamed "Tala Dala."

This telephone box stands in front of a historic building now renovated to look like it's past historic use as a blacksmith and wagon shop. The shop (like so many other shops in this CUTE town) sells Swedish-themed goods and gifts.

Younger Sister Blaster can attest that the phone works, but does ask for a credit card to make calls.
