The homemade tombstone of toddler Elida Tijerna at the overgrouwn, forgotten, and abandoned Old Mexican Cemetery, across the road from the immaculately maintained (white) Masonic Cemetery in Robert Lee TX.

The only reasonably intact tombstone in this abandoned and forgotten cemetery belongs to Elida Tijerna, a toddler who died in 1937. Her grave is marked by a concrete cross with a hand-inscribed metal plate in the center. That plate reads as follows:

"ELIDA TIJERNA
Natividad 12 Ao 1935
Died Feb. 13 1937
Robert Lee TX"
Date of Birth: 12 Aug 1935

Date of Death: 13 Feb 1937

Material: Concrete
