The homemade concrete tombstone of W. Jolly stands in Montvale cenetery. The stone reads as follows:

Find A Grave has a photo of a government-issued military veteran tombstone also at this site, but the day Blasterz were here (26 May 2013) we saw no evidence of this second marker. (visit link)

According to Find A Grave, Jolly was a veteran of the Confederate Army, a Sergeant in Co. G of the 24th Texas Cavalry. He was born Sep 29, 1834 and died on May 4, 1925. He was married to Sarah J. Mathis Jolly (1837-1912).
