This lovely cemetery in the rugged West Texas terrain around Sterling City offers a place of peaceful repose for the dearly departed. Early Sterling City residents and pioneer ranchers are buried here.

The Sterling City Cemetery is located at the end of Washington Street/Sterling CR 124P south of town. The arch is relatively new (within 5 years old). The local limestone pillars that support the arch are also newly constructed. The arch is made of wrought-iron, with an elegant flourish at the top.
