The entire last name on the headstone is no longer visible as it has been swallowed by the tree. The name on the headstone is mostly likely Annie B. Whipple. A listing for an Annie B. Whipple of Jacksonville is available at the Find A Grave website. According to this link, she is buried in the St. Mary's Cemetery; however, St. Mary's Cemetery is now part of Evergreen Cemetery. Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville’s oldest and most prestigious operating cemetery, is one of the South’s most beautiful.
Type of Tree: Live Oak
