This brewery offers all kinds of typical southern beers including seasonal beer types like Maibock (kind of Starkbier, traditional recipe of 1240), rather murky Sommerbier, and rich Oktoberfest-Bier (6 % vol. alcohol). The recipes and standards of production have not changed since 1589.
You can book "brew courses" that show non-professionals or interested people how to brew their own beer. Alternatively, the offer tours through their brewing process on the premises. According to German laws, minors under 12 years of age are not allowed to participate in tasting samples.
The restaurant integrated into the brewery has a large indoor area as well as a Biergarten in the Summer. Tasty traditional Bavarian cuisine is offered. In the evening, there is live music as well as oocasional special events like Oktoberfest or dancing performances in traditional costumes.
