Golden Valley is one of 11 wind parks in the 183-MW Idaho Wind Partners project, the largest wind energy development effort in Idaho history. Golden Valley is one of three parks in the Golden Triangle cluster near Burley, Idaho.

The Idaho Wind Partners project has created 25 permanent jobs and over 150 temporary construction jobs.

The 12 MW Golden Valley project relies on eight 1.5MW GE turbines to generate enough electricity to power over 2,500 homes per year.
