The final resting place of Myrtle J. Rice is in the Forest Home Cemetery located 4.5 miles southeast from Northport off Hwy. 25. Turn on Old Northport Road go about 1.5 miles, continue on Aladdin Road about 3 miles to the cemetery

Myrtle Rice was born in Arkansas on October 1st, 1898 and died February 26th, 1989 at the age of 90.
This handmade grave marked is a simple wooden plaque style. Myrtle's name and dates seem to be hand carved into the marker.
With the handmade grave marker still remains the aluminum marker provided by the funeral home.
