Bluescope is Australia's largest steelworks based in nearby Port Kembla & the sponsor of this traffic park. The traffic park is open for all children & their parents to use 7 days a week. The PCYC runs courses during school holidays & bookings can be made by phoning the number on the sign.
The traffic/safety park has all the elements children will experience as they ride their bicycles around the streets. There are stop, giveway, round-a-bout, directional & pedestrian signs, zebra crossings & active traffic lights. There are trees for shade & picnic tables for parents to rest. Toilets are available in the PCYC next door.
The traffic/safety park is also beside a shared bicycle & pedestrian track which runs along the length of Lake Illawarra.
