This is the Church 'St. Stephanus' in Wendelsheim, Germany, Baden-Württemberg located in the middle of the village nearby to the town hall at the 'Obere Dorfstraße'.

The church has been built in different steps over the centuries.
A first chapel was built in the 12th/13th century.
This chapel has been enlarged in 1610 and 1721. And again in 1827 and 1896.

Bigger renovations have been taken in 1982/83 and again in 1993/94.

The community Wendelsheim was in possession of own quarry, so the hewn stone from their homeland was used as a building block for the church.
