Kaple sv. Jana Krtitele stojí v pomyslném stredu obce, na míste které se príznacne jmenuje Námestí U Kaple. Pri ceste po hlavní silnici ji nelze minout. Ve stredu a v sobotu se v ní konají bohoslužby, jinak je neprístupná. Myšlenka stavby kaple vznikla v roce 1891 z iniciativy zdejšího obyvatelstva. Ti potom dobrovolne financne prispeli na realizaci stavby a vlastními prostredky také zabezpecili dopravu materiálu. V roce 1893 pak byla pomerne malá pseudogotická kaple dokoncena a zacala ihned sloužit svému úcelu. Roku 1926 pak probehla její první nákladnejší rekonstrukce, poslední pak pred nekolika lety.
