The century vault at Bicentennial park was sealed in 1976 to be opened in 2076.

The plaque on the vault reads as follows:

"CENTURY VAULT

Herein are mementoes from the people of A.D. 1976 to the people of the year A.D. 2076

Dedicated July 4, 1976"
