The memorial is made of several panels of grey granite inscribed with the names of those who served and who died in service in various wars from Runnels County.
Blasterz were fortunate the visit here during Memorial Day weekend 2013, when the memorial was decorated with flags and folks were stopping by.
As Persian Gulf War veterans, Older Blasterz know that freedom is not free. It was good to see a young child being brought here today by her Daddy, who told her some stories of her grandfather's service in WWII.
