A small yet powerful memorial to the men of Co. C, 142nd Infantry Regiment of the famed "Arrowhead Division," (AKA T-Patchers) especially to those who lost their lives in service to our country.
This specific-veteran memorial is part of the larger non-specific multi-war Runnells Country Veteran's memorial.
Blasterz visited here during the Memorial Day weekend of 2013, when it was marked with flags by a local veteran's group.
The monument reads as follows:
"[T-Patch insignia]
Dedicated to the memory of the men
who served in Company C, 142nd Infantry Regiment
36th Division Texas National Guard
Especially to those who gallantly
Sacrificed their lives for
This great country
November 9, 1983"
