A ghost sign on the side of what once was a wool and mohair warehouse on the courthouse square in downtown Sterling City TX recalls the importance of the wool and mohair industries to the economy of this region.
Today the building is used as a feed store so it is still involved in supporting the local ranching economy.

We think the name of the warehouse is painted down the L side of the sign, vertically: G (illegible)
Center and bottom in big letters: WOOL. MOHAIR.
