"The Bank of Italy purchased this
newly constructed building in
1927. The following year it became
the Bank of America. The bank
operated at this location until 1950.
It was then home to the Bank of
California and Sumitomo Bank until
1983. For a brief period, there was
a restaurant and gift shop in the
building. It was even the setting for a bank robbery episode for a Robert Conrad
television series in 1989." (visit link)
