If you get off Main Street and head to the northeast corner of town you will find the Royal Canadian Legion and this monument. This granite slab is found in front of the Legion in Caroline, Alberta. Similar monuments are found in front of Legion's across Canada, this one has a bit more with a nice garden that surrounds it.

Each Remembrance Day, November 11, many of the town's 500 residents gather at the Legion at 11 a.m. to remember the town and country's fallen

The monument has been placed near the entrance and allows for room for most everyone in town to get a position nearby on Remembrance Day. To the back of the monument a small garden adds to the beauty of the surroundings.
