From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 8.3 miles to the junction with FR1400-400. Turn left on FR1400-400 and continue generally WNW for 0.5 miles. Turn right on an unnumbered road and continue about 550' generally NNW to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe; flush with the ground

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 20' W of the dirt road. There are two PROPERTY BOUNDARY signs mounted on U-posts and a length of lath with orange paint on the ground. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the reverse sides.


What property is this mark defining?:
The land SW of the corner is House on Metolius property, else Deschutes National Forest.
