The main photos were taken from a position about fifty
metres to the north east of the bridge. Footpaths, on each side of the road
allow photographs to be taken safely from a number of angles.
The girder bridge is supported at each end by brick walls at the ends of the
embankments. Although the height of the bridge is sufficient for most normal
high vehicles, there is no clearance indicated, a sign on the bridge advises:
