From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 8.4 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe in mound of stones; rising 2"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 220' NW from FR14. There is a Carsonite post with a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal. Found four ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the reverse sides. There is an amended monument which bears S31.3°E, 93.9' distant. That corner was originally set by R. Oman in 1980 and stamped AM 1985 in this survey.


What property is this mark defining?:
The land SE of the corner is part of the Metolius Research Natural Area; else Deschutes National Forest.
