This tank is NOT a US benchmark. It was built to serve a cotton compress/cotton warehouse in town probably between the 1920s-1940s. It It looks to us like the tank is no longer in service even though the cotton business remains, but that is based only on the outward appearance of the tank. It could very well still be in use.
