Although there are other points of departure for those desiring to visit the small islands in the Gulf of Thailand, the Chumphon Ferry Terminal is used by most travelers. There is shuttle bus to and from the Chumphon Train terminal and combined tickets for train, shuttle and ferry can be purchased.

The wooden pier here is one of the longest encountered, at least 100 meters. There are several ferry services but the most popular are the high speed catamarands operated by Lomprayah.
