At 110 N. Main Street there is a small area in front of the municipal building which has flowers and plantings, a gazebo and fountain. A bronze plaque mounted on a brick pillar identifies this area as the Sheri Hall Gordon Memorial Park.

The plaque reads:

SHERI HALL GORDON
MEMORIAL PARK
Dedicated
To the Memory of
Sheri, Dani and Robert
Gordon
August 16, 2000

Research shows that Sheri (12/27/1956), Dani (7/16/1987)and Robert (1/23/1983) were laid to rest in Perkins Cemetery, and passed away on the same date (8/16/1998).
