According to the history of the Barry County Southern Baptist Association, this church goes back to at least 1907. There had been an actual town in this area named Mineral Springs with the typical school and country store. But now all that is left is the church, the cemetery and the name.
The church is typical in that it has a very old smaller building with an attached larger, newer building. However, untypically, it does not have a church sign at all! The only wording is the sign above the door of the old church building with the name of the church. The bell tower is on the original / oldest part of the church. The white streaks on the bell itself indicate that the birds really like the tower.
The church is about 5.2 miles east of Cassville, as the crow flies; or about 6.2 miles by Ozark roads.
