From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.6 miles to the junction with FR1419. Bear left on FR1419 and continue about 2.2 miles to the junction with FR1420. Continue straight ahead on FR1420 for 3.3 miles to the junction with FR1420-400. Turn right and continue on FR1420-400 about 0.8 miles to the Canyon Creek Campground. Walk northbound on the W. Metolius River Trail #4018 for 0.9 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe in mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is uphill about 120' W of the trail. There is a short Carsonite post with no decal or metal sign. Found two white firs with partly healed blazes and yellow BEARING TREE tags. The nearer tree has an ATTENTION sign on the backside.
