It turns out that SV1220 is actually the Spokane County Courthouse Flagpole. And the courthouse is one beautiful building, French Renaissance in style.

Given that you have the coordinates and this "benchmark" is about 200 feet above ground, on the north side of Broadway Avenue, midway between North Jefferson and North Madison Streets, if you can't find this one, then perhaps you need to try another hobby.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1957 (RCM) THE STATION IS LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF BROADWAY AVENUE AND MADISON STREET IN THE WEST CENTRAL PART OF SPOKANE. IT IS A FLAG POLE ON TOP OF THE COURT HOUSE. THERE IS A BALL ON THE TOP OF THE POLE.
