From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.6 miles to the junction with FR1419. Bear left on FR1419 and continue about 2.2 miles to the junction with FR1420. Continue straight ahead on FR1420 for 3.4 miles to the junction with FR1420-440. Bear right and continue on FR1420-440 about 0.1 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 3"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 190' W from FR1420-440. There is an ATTENTION sign mounted on a T-post. Found four standing ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the reverse sides.
