Near Hanna City, within the Wildlife Prairie Park, is this photo-cutout of a locomotive engineer.

Wildlife Prairie Park is located west of the city of Peoria. From I-74, take Exit 82 to Kickapoo/Edwards St, then head south to the park entrance on the left. After going through admission gate ($8 for adults - 2013), park in the near parking lot to the right and lood for the railroad depot, which has a large canopy area made of stained logs. The cutout is along the walkway.

The cutout is slightly smaller than real life (for an adult of average height). The figure is of an old style locomotive engineer, with a blue-white striped jumper, a T-shirt, a red neckerchief, and a place for the head. The hands carry a lantern and a wrench.

The area is for the Wildlife Prairie's miniature railroad, the Prairie Zephyr. The trains cost $4 to ride (not required to be at the cutout), and you get a nice ride through woods and has a vista or two.

The zoo has specific operating hours. See the web site for details.
