Mereworth village in rural Kent has a church with a spire that can be seen for miles around. The village sign on the edge of the village shows the church as the main feature. This church, surounded by filed and fruit depicts that this village is rural and that the main crops grown here are soft fruits.

On the wooden support is a plaque. On this brass plaque it is written "This sign was designed by Hannah Adamaszek of Mereworth to celebrate the 2000 AD Millennium"
