Mereworth, a small village in kent. In the Doomsday Book it was recorded that the village had 28 villagers, a church and two mills.
The main feature on this sign is the church. This has a very large spire and can be seen for miles around. The background around the church shows the countnryside and fruit. This is because the village is a rural community and the main crops grown here are soft fruits.
A plaque on the sign shows that it was designed by Hannah Adamaszek of Mereworth to celebtrate the Millennium.
