The church of St Michael at East peckham has stood since the days of the Doomsday Book. The church now though is no longer used and is in the care of the churches conservation trust.
Inside this church, which although not in use, is still concerated, is the Baptismal font. Located at the rear of the church, on the south side, this plain hexagonal font stands on a concrete plinth. The font has no decorations on it, but it is lead lined and in a very good condition.
