Dedicated exactly one year after the tragedy, this memorial stands alone in the southwest corner of the cemetery, south of the entrance. A stone monument in front of a flag pole and flag, its angled granite face contains a bronze plaque which reads: In Memory of
Those who perished
In the 9-11-01
Attack on America

Also on the face are stencils of the emblems of the New York Police Department and the New York Fire Department, along with stencils of the World Trade Center in the skyline of New York and of the Pentagon.
