In Bartonville, along Pfeiffer Road, is John Robbins Lodge No. 930.
The lodge is located in a mostly industrial area, near the old Bartonville/Peoria Insane Asylum and the Bartonville water tank.
The building is a single story yellow brick building built on a slight hill. The peaked roof is shingled. The entrance is from a parking lot up a short flight of stairs. The white areas with small windows suggest that there were previously larger and more numerous windows there. The building likely was associated with the state hospital when it was active.
I could find nothing about the lodge itself. "According to a web site about Masonic poets, the lodge was named after Joseph Robbins (1834-1909) who was active in the Grand Lodge of Illinois. The link to the lodge web site was broken.
