This station is a NY Department of Transportation standard disk, located near the ramp connecting eastbound NY Route 55 to southbound NY Route 22:

THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 1 KM (0.6 MI) SOUTH OF PAWLING, NEW YORK,
IN THE SOUTHWEST ANGLE OF THE JUNCTION STATE HIGHWAYS 22 AND 55.
OWNERSHIP--HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY. TO REACH THE STATION FROM HIGHWAY
55, WEST OF THE JUNCTION OF HIGHWAY 22, GO EAST ON HIGHWAY 55 TO THE
RAMP LEADING TO HIGHWAY 22 SOUTHBOUND. CONTINUE ABOUT TWO-THIRDS
AROUND THE RAMP TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT, ABOUT 3 M (9.8 FT) PAST
THE CONCRETE AND STEEL DRAINAGE INLET, ON THE THIRD TIER OF A SMALL
THREE TIER ROCK OUTCROP. THE STATION IS A SURVEY DISK SET IN THE ROCK
OUTCROP ABOUT 2.5 M (8.2 FT) ABOVE THE HIGHWAY AND ABOUT 0.5 M (1.6
FT) BELOW THE TOP OF THE BANK. IT IS 9 M (29.5 FT) SOUTHWEST FROM THE
EDGE OF THE PAVEMENT OF THE HIGHWAY AND 9.0 M (29.5 FT) DUE EAST FROM
A UTILITY POLE (NYSEG 12/NYT 3) .

The description is thorough, but the station can be a bit tricky to reach. Park on the shoulder just past the grate, and climb up the hillside just south of the rock outcrop. There is a discernible path between the trees and bushes. Turn right at the top of the hill and walk to the rock outcrop.

I had the good fortune of finding this station shortly after a recent visit by professionals, as the mark was blazed with a coat of bright orange paint, and the pathway to the mark was fresh.

Note that this is a Cooperative Base Network Control Station, with adjusted coordinates. Because these coordinates are of high accuracy, I used the NGS published coordinates for this mark. (I did compare the coordinates shown on my GPSr, and they came amazingly close to the published figures.)
