The Loudoun County Courthouse was constructed beginning in 1894 and completed in 1895. It was built on the site of the earlier courthouse at the corner of King and Market Streets. The building was constructed by the Norris Brothers who were noted builders in the area at that time. The building is in a Classical Revival style with a two-story portico and four massive Ionic columns. The windows of the bulding are elongated with round arch openings. Above the roof is an octagonal-shaped cupola with clock and bell. The county has build other buildings on the same square with this courthouse building. It appears to be in excellent condition.
