The cemetery and the old one-room country school next to it are named Ruddick, whilst the church connected with the cemetery is called Reddick Assembly of God. It is possible, but too improbable, that both a Ruddick and a Reddick family settled in the same area. The oldest Reddick grave (apart from 2 undated infant graves) is from 1941, whilst the oldest Ruddick grave is from 1869, when the cemetery was started.
