The Brydon Block is one of two stone buildings built by Dr. A. Brydon. One of the original tenants was Imperial Bank of Canada who moved to their own building in 1910. Other early tenants included G.W. Smith Bookstore and Bennett Clothing Store. The Brydon Block was bought by the Johnson family in 1916.
