English and Tucker try to get Karlenko to hospital in an helicopter. Without navigation they have to descend to ground level to read a village sign to know where they are. The sequence was shot at Cockernhoe, near Luton Airport.

Johnny English has been at a retreat since an unfortunate incident in Mozambique. A CIA agent wants to see English so MI7 brings English back. The CIA agent tells English of a plot to assassinate the Chinese premier at an Anglo Chinese meeting. There will be three assassins working for an organisation called Vortex.
English is given one of three keys that Vortex needs, but promptly looses it again. The second key is with a KGB agent Karlenko. English arranges to meet Karlenko to play golf. Karlenko is assassinated, but gives English a key and the knowledge that Vortex has agents from the CIA, KGB and MI7, before he dies.
English’s trainee sidekick, Tucker, discovers that the MI7 Vortex member is Simon Ambrose, but English won’t hear of it. Ambrose puts it out that English is the Vortex agent. English and Tucker disappear and reappear at the Swiss mountain castle where the Anglo Chinese talks are to take place. Ambrose is using a drug to get innocent people to assassinate world leaders. At the summit he wants to get MI7’s Pegasus to assassinate the Chinese leader. Unfortunately English drinks the drug by mistake. The mind over matter training English received in the East prevents him shooting the Chinese leader.
Ambrose makes his escape in a cable car with English in pursuit by paraglider and snowmobile, finally jumping onto the cable car. A fight ensues and English falls out of the cable car, however he manages to blow up the cable car using a gadget umbrella rocket launcher.
