"Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sohner opened the Hob Nob Drive-in on March 12, 1957 when Washington Boulevard was nothing but a dirt road and your order was delivered to you by servers on roller skates.
When the present owners, Cary and Debbie Spicuzza, bought the Hob Nob on November 7, 1991, it was just a little wooden shack. Over the years they have made many renovations, but are determined to preserve the drive-in's history and casual, friendly atmosphere. Awnings now cover the open air seating, patrons are protected from rain. There are even heaters for those rare not so sunny days.
Getting back to basics... The Spicuzza's insist on quality from their classic burgers & hot dogs to the homemade milkshakes, floats, sundaes and cones... everything is made to taste good, the old-fashioned way. Check the blackboard for daily specials. The menu also includes heart healthy items. The casual and friendly atmosphere of the Hob Nob makes it a favorite of locals and visitors. Just like in the good old days our staff will provide you with excellent service and a smile."
