This church building was also used as a school building. After the schools were consolidated and this building was no longer used for the school, it was allowed to get pretty run down, as can be seen in the photograph in this rootsweb page. But it has been beautifully restored, and an air conditioning unit on one of the windows is a good sign. I could find no web pages for this church, which appears to be an independent Baptist Church - not associated with the Southern Baptist Convention as so many are in this county. There is even a churchyard cemetery here with over 500 graves.
