In Bartonville, along Pfeiffer Road, is a water tank for Bartonville.
The tank is located along Pfeiffer Road, near the old Bartonville/Peoria State Assylum and in the center of a mostly industrial area. It is easily visible.
The tank is a rounded cylinder on seven legs, with a center pipe to the ground, and painted an-off white. On the face is the name, Bartonville, in light blue paint. Blue accents underline the name and form a shape that implies the bluff, with a red-orange ball representing the sun.
