From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.6 miles to the junction with FR1419. Bear left on FR1419 and continue about 2.2 miles to the junction with FR1420. Continue straight ahead on FR1420 for 2.5 miles to the junction with FR1420-250. Turn right and continue about 500' E to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe; under 3" duff
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is 22' S from FR1420-250 in the N-S fence line. Found four ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the backsides.
What property is this mark defining?:
The land E of the corner is House on Metolius property, else National Forest.
