From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.6 miles to the junction with FR1419. Bear left on FR1419 and continue about 2.2 miles to the junction with FR1420. Continue straight ahead on FR1420 for 2.0 miles to the corner, some distance away on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe in collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 0.6 mile E from FR1420 in an E-W wire fence line. It is reached by walking 2650' E from Waymark WMJHFR through light brush. There is a Carsonite post with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides. One also has a yellow BEARING TREE tag.


What property is this mark defining?:
The land N of the corner is House on Metolius property, else National Forest.
