From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.6 miles to the junction with FR1419. Bear left on FR1419 and continue about 2.2 miles to the junction with FR1420. Turn right on FR1419 and continue for 0.5 miles to the junction with SW Tract H Road. Turn left and continue for about 340' to the corner and reference monuments on the right and left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe in mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the reverse sides. These trees define the location of the true corner buried in the road. The reference monument bears N42.2°W, 14.0' distant. There is a Carsonite post with a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal. The amended monument, a 3" brass cap in a 12" diameter concrete base, bears S42.2°E, 9.8' distant. It was originally set by Tenneson Engineering Corporation in 1971 and re-stamped in the 1985 survey. There are two Carsonite posts nearby. One with a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal, and the other a PROPERTY BOUNDARY decal.


What property is this mark defining?:
The land SW of the corner is private property, else National Forest.
