Riverfront Park Ferris Wheel is slated for possible demolition.

In the spring and summer months the park is turned into an amusement park with many rides and attractions, from this ferris wheel to a small roller coaster. There is also a historic carousel, now a National Historic Place.

The park was built in the 1970s as part of the 1974 World's Fair. The summer amusement park is a legacy of Expo '74.
