The park where this cairn has a few memorials, dedicated trees and benches, fountains and quiet walking paths. Anyone who visits the cairn will have a great opportunity to walk through the park and have several places to stop and contemplate the sacrifice made by Canadians at war and in peacekeeping efforts.
The park is well maintained by staff of the City of Grande Prairie.
