Boiling Spring Lake is reportedly the third largest body of hot water found anywhere in the world. Hot springs emerge in many locations in the lake, especially along the southern end of the lake. Boiling Springs Lake is located about 7 miles southeast of Lassen Peak in Warner Valley. From the Warner Valley Trailhead it is a 2 mile round trip to Boiling Springs Lake.
