This 80-ton switching engine is used to power the some of the Pacific Southwest Railway Museums excursion trains when it is not on static display in the museum exhibit yard.

This General Electric 80-ton switching engine was previously used by the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton before being donated to the Pacific Southwest Railway Museums, where it has been put to use as the prime mover on many of the scenic excursions offered by the Museum.
